Hi,

In general these goods are not much cheaper then in other countries. This is due to the fact that they are tradable goods and you can easily ship them from one country to another.

There might be some slight price differences in case of a sale or other promotion and do not forget you can get 7% tax back at the airport.

Happy shopping

At the airport you can back the VAT you paid on your purchases over 5000 THB. I dont think this is possible by train.

Many leading department stores like Central offer a 5% discount for tourists, you can get one of the coupons from one of the many free maps that are distributed at hotels.

Good luck

There must be 'imitation' markets to be found. Where are the best and/or cheapest of these?
