Koh Phi Phi, truly an island from paradise with a small strip of beach linking two separate islands. Because it is just a small strip of land it was completely destroyed by the tsunami in 2004. Most of the damage has been restored by now however and tourists are populating the island again. Rooms on Phi Phi can be found here.
If you want to get your PADI diving license this is an excellent spot with beautiful corals and sometimes people get lucky when they see a whale shark.
Take a daytour to Maya Bay, this wonderful beach is enclosed by two cliffs and was the shooting location for the movie "The Beach" with Leonardo Decaprio. Opposed to the movie there are no dangerous sharks here so feel free to take a swim.
