ext to the Siam skytrain station is Siam Square, a large shopping area with lots of small streets and shops.
This is the favorite hang out place for Thai teenagers and students as they all hope to be spotted by some kind of modeling agency. Often there are concerts by Thai celebrities at Center Point. There are tons of small shops here as well as many small restaurants.
Inside Siam Square are also a couple cinema's, these are the oldest in Bangkok and are not very popular anymore, a good place to watch a movie in peace.
