Next to Siam square at the National Stadium BTS station is MBK, the most popular mall in town, a huge 8 floors mall where you can buy almost everything.

All the shops are small and it can be extremely busy especially on saturday and sunday. But if you can handle a crowd you will succeed here with most products at cheap prices. On the third and fourth floor you find large section were you can buy fake and imitation products from t-shirts to watches and copied software and dvd's. The dvd's go for about 120 bath, just like the software. Even portable cd-players are copied with the Sony brand glued right on to them, a portable cd-player with mp3 function should be around 1100 bath. These floors are also well known for buying mobile phones, hundreds of small shops offer anything from second hand models to brand new imported phones.
On the seventh floor there is a cinema with ticket prices around 120 bath and a large bowling hall. On this floor you also find the best internet cafe I found so far in Bangkok, it's right at the end next to Sizzler with comfortable white leather sofa's and large 19 inch screens, only 30 bath an hour and after 8 just 15 bath. They also have the newest games installed although sometimes they are hidden as the games are of course illegal copies, just ask the staff and they will show you.
