Another up class shopping center, Emporium is located right on Phrom Phong BTS station and for some reason Japanese people seem to like it here.
International top brands can be found here and just like Siam Discovery center they have an Asia Books for all sorts of international magazines and other reading material. If you're looking for a good book to learn Thai go to Asia Books and buy "Thai for Beginners" by Benjawan Poomsan Becker. For 800 bath you get an excellent book with two cd's that teaches you basic Thai. Don't expect to learn it overnight though, practice is still required.
Also a movie theatre and very good restaurants but just like the shopping they are expensive for Thai standards.
